Southern Railway 4501 is a preserved Ms class 2-8-2 "Mikado" type steam locomotive built in October 1911 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as the first of its wheel arrangement type for the Southern Railway. In 1948, the locomotive was retired from the Southern in favor of dieselization and was sold to the shortline Kentucky and Tennessee Railway (K&T) in Stearns, Kentucky to haul coal trains.

I was about 12 years old, when I start draw hyper realistic drawings with pencil and paint a little. Few years later I bought my first pro camera, and sent one of first pictures taken to the national photo contest ... and won first prize. Picture was published on the front cover of photo magazine. In my later years quite unexpectedly I came to US, and became pro photographer. Cancer stoped me from continuing work 12 years ago. Many years ago I started picture transformations and "paint" on the computer. This is briefly my life. Thank you for reading about me ... and I hope you enjoy my work. Comments greatly appreciated.

My childhood memory! L/F Stoi na stacji lokomotywa, Ciężka, ogromna i pot z niej spływa: Tłusta oliwa......... The locomotive’s standing at the station, Huge, heavy, it drips perspiration – Oily lubrication. It stands and wheezes, it groans and gnashes Its boiling belly stuffed with hot ashes: Arrrgh, what torture! Phew, what a scorcher! Panting and puffing! Hissing and huffing! It’s barely gasping, it’s barely breathing, And still its fireman more coal keeps on heaping.........
